The White Moon Rose Over Us

عن انس رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:

لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى أكون أحبَّ إليه من ولده ووالده والناس أجمعين

On the authority of Anas (R), the Messenger of Allah (S) said: “One of you will not believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his parents, and all people.”

As Muslims, we all claim to have immense love for our beloved Prophet (SAW). However, sometimes we find it rather difficult to express our love for him in manners which reflects our true connection to him (SAW). This is by no means a weakness we should be ashamed of nor is it an imperfection that can be faulted to us, but rather this blemish is a direct effect of us not being able to to study the beautiful and aspiring life of the Muhammad (SAW). As we study his life we naturally adapt the love and connection his habits, practices, and traditions. Thus, making it easier for us to constantly express our love for him.

Registration for Winter Seerah Intensive 2018

Last Year’s Seerah Intensive

The most important thing is he’ll give you the spiritual aspect of the seerah. Why we learn the seerah is to reform ourselves through the love of the Prophet (S). He gives you the points to take home, the action items, the symbols for events that happened. It’s not just everything is random. There are symbolic events.
— Oussama Ajerd, Seerah 2017 Attendee
I felt like after coming to this, to the Miftaah program, I felt like the spark actually happened. I actually developed a love for the Prophet Muhammad (S).
