The stories of the Prophets are more than accounts of the past they carry lessons that continue to echo through our lives today. Join Shaykh Suleiman Hani and Shaykh Abdullah Waheed for a powerful three-part journey through the lives of Ayyub (AS), Yunus (AS), and Lut (AS).
Through trials, patience, repentance, courage, and unwavering faith, we’ll explore what their stories teach us about navigating our own tests and strengthening our relationship with Allah.

Shaykh Abdullah Waheed was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI. He commenced his studies at the age of ten in Toronto, Canada, where he went to memorize the Quran. He completed the memorization of the Holy Quran by the tender age of thirteen and then went on to study in the seven-year extensive Shariah program in Toronto, Canada. Shaykh Abdullah specialized in the Tafseer of the Quran. Shaykh Abdullah spent years studying the details and beauty of our Holy book since understanding and mastering the language of the Holy Quran was always the primary goal. Shaykh Abdullah is a co-founder and instructor at Miftaah Institute and is also the Director of Islamic Affairs at Flint Islamic Center.
Dr. Suleiman Hani is the Dean of Academic Affairs at AlMaghrib Institute, a resident scholar in Michigan, and an international lecturer on Islam, philosophy, leadership, and human rights. Suleiman holds master's degrees from Harvard University and the University of Jordan, and a doctorate in leadership from NYU. His unique background includes mastery of classical Islamic texts since a young age with traditional certifications, alongside contemporary leadership theory and practice. Over the past decade, he has delivered lectures across more than fifty countries, consulted national and international organizations, and published numerous books and articles.
